An ultrasound-guided injection delivers medication directly to a painful or inflamed area, such as a joint, tendon, or bursa. The most common procedure is a corticosteroid injection, however we also offer Hyaluronic Acid Injections (HAI) and Barbotage.

The Procedure

The process is straightforward:
  • The area is cleaned and numbed with a local anaesthetic
  • Ultrasound guidance is used to target the exact area
  • Steroid medication is injected into the inflamed or painful spot
  • The needle is removed, and a small dressing is applied
