Ultrasound-Guided Injections

Precise. Effective. Faster relief.

Get back to the things you love doing with pinpoint, pain-relieving injections.

An ultrasound-guided injection delivers medication directly to a painful or inflamed area, such as a joint, tendon, or bursa. The most common procedure is a corticosteroid injection, however we also offer Hyaluronic Acid Injections (HAI) and Barbotage.

What makes this treatment different:

While not a cure on its own, this injection can provide relief that helps you progress with physiotherapy and get back to daily life.

When to Consider It

Ultrasound-guided injections are appropriate if:
By delivering medication precisely, this treatment can reduce pain and swelling, supporting better rehabilitation outcomes.
Delivers a powerful anti-inflammatory medication directly to the inflamed joint or soft tissue. It can be used in certain cases of osteoarthritic joints, tendinopathy, meniscal tears and bursitis.
Acts to supplement your joints’ natural lubricants and relieve pain associated with osteoarthritis and cartilage injuries.
Uses a fine needle to break down painful calcium deposits in tendons (calcific tendinitis), which are then flushed out with a saline solution.

The Procedure

The process is straightforward:
Most people experience minimal discomfort and can leave shortly after the procedure.
