Clinical Director
Patrick Kenny started his career in sports rehabilitation in 2006 where he was a head therapist responsible for 150-200 athletes prior to and during the Delhi Commonwealth and London Olympic Games where there was a record medal haul at each games. He then completed his Masters in Physiotherapy (2014), published several articles, and specialised as a Kinetic Control Movement Therapist. This was undertaken whilst continuing to work in a leading London clinic, gaining vast clinical knowledge and application on top of his academic repertoire. Patrick has been trained by the leading musculoskeletal sonographer’s in the UK to a postgraduate diploma level. Patrick uses ultrasound in the session to diagnose what strucutre is injured which complements his assessment and enhances his rehabilitation strategy with even greater precision. True to his love of ongoing education and development, he is currently undergoing further training in Ultrasound Guided Injections to deepen this expertise and what he can offer to his patients. Patrick has a Movement Health philosophy, wherein he believes that if we train our body to move in a variety of ways, we will not continually stress the same body parts. This is the key to achieving a pain-free and improved life through Movement Health. On top of knowing how to make bodies work more optimally, Patrick practises a complete personalised approach to your rehabilitation. He adapts his approach to match every client’s unique goal and works compassionately, persistently, and patiently with them to achieve these. Patrick likes to run, cycle, snowboard and cook (and eat!). He is also addicted to assessing running technique when walking in Richmond Park, much to his wife’s despair! Do not worry, he is receiving professional help for this.
